It's the worst 2002 Eddie Murphy film ever (along with The Adventures of Pluto Nash and I Spy with Owen Wilson as well). In the cop genre films he does an beyond awesome job as an actor. This is a pretty good cop-com film. Robert de Niro is really good at deadpan humor. Eddie Murphy's humor is more hyperactive. Or on hyperspeed. And he has an infectious laugh. Eddie Murphy plays an actor who wants to be a detective. Robert de Niro is a seasoned detective who unwillingly has to become an actor on Hollywood version of a cop show. This movie has action, comedy, & drama.
