During the last samurai war, Japan is split after the fall of the Shoguns. In an effort to stop the advancing army, a group of imprisoned criminals are ordered to defend a mountain pass fortress. tm11999 M @tm11999 3d japan period stories convey perfectly the honor and dishonor of the mixing of the classes during times of ultimate decision. you can watch this. See more Robert L @AbeSapien Jul 5 Strongly reminiscent of Kurosawa with the feel of "7 Samurai" and "The 300". None of the principles want to be in the situation they're in but are torn between escape and the hope of returning to their former lives. Even as the truth of their situation is revealed to them the conflict of their desires continues to drive the action. For English language viewers use the subtitles and enjoy the action.
