Mariana T @M.Tezeta Apr 3 It's impossible not to compare it to other Adam Sandler movies. If I see it that way, it's one of his best. It has a good premise, a captivating plot, and great chemistry between Sandler and Barrymore. There are many genuinely funny moments. Again, everything revolves around the main characters. On the other hand, I wish the subplots, like Sandler's at work, didn't exist. The jokes with his coworker and the walrus were disgusting. Adam Sandler's friend was pathetic. And honestly, I have a problem with the protagonist; I just don't buy that whole story about him not being committed. It feels forced at the beginning; they just mention it, and it makes it incoherent. If you cut a lot of things from this movie, it might have worked, although I'm no expert on amnesia. They were somewhat insensitive about it, but you can tell they were trying to portray an unconventional love. Anyway, it's worth watching so you can say, "Of course I've seen this Adam Sandler movie." If you're in business your end goal is to make money and so on. Movies it's all about emotions you feel, comedy? Did it made you laugh? Drama? Did it make you tear up? Horror? Did it scare you? You don't need to be too technical or rely on statistics, those stats are pretty much useless, end of the day it's about the end goal, this movie is a romantic comedy and it sure as h3ll made me laugh, sad, etc and felt the love. And that what it matters. Heck I don't even show my emotion I don't even talk and for me a 36 yr old man write this just proves that how amazed I am in this movie.
