It is very funny in a very silly kind of way and that people who intend to see it should do so as soon as possible. For this is a movie whose charm comes totally from the unexpected, off-the-wall nature of its jokes.

This is a disaster movie spoof. And it works in so many different ways, because they basically take every bucket of jokes they can find, and throw it at the script. The more you watch this movie, the more jokes you see layered into it. And some of them are. just absolutely priceless. Take a little time, make sure you’re not on your phone watching this, and look for hidden gems in there. Things like the titles of the sections in the magazine rack, or the voice announcing that the white zone is for loading and unloading Only. Sure, there’s absurd team in here. Sure, there’s dad jokes in here. Oh my gosh, there’s dad jokes in here. But this is the movie that Transcends the genre and sets the bar for everything that followed it. There’s a reason this is one of the most often quoted movies of all time. And the best news I have for you, is that it’s held up really, really well. Sit back and enjoy it!
