When Zoe (Rose Matafeo) and Tim (Matthew Lewis) find out they are having a baby, they resolve to not let parenthood change them. Tim runs towards being a dad, while Zoe runs away from being a mum. Terrified that her life won’t be her own anymore, Zoe is still determined to tick off a list of their wildest dreams before the baby arrives. Zoe’s increasing denial about her impending birth pushes her, and her relationship, to the limit.

The humor is gentle but effective, often coming from awkward situations rather than exaggerated jokes. This gives the film a natural feel that makes it easy to connect with the characters and their experiences. The performances are solid across the board, with the lead actors bringing warmth and personality to their roles. The chemistry helps keep the story engaging even during quieter moments. Overall, Baby Done is an enjoyable and easygoing film with heart and humor in equal measure. I would rate it a 7/10.

With appealing leads decently fulfilling their comedic roles with meaningful strain, this humorous existential take on impending parenthood is oft nonsensical when funnily ineffective if not empathetic enough to grasp their conflicting anxieties. (B)

Nothing humorous about this movie. It's about an unlikable narcissus who's pregnancy prevents her from doing what she wants to do. Even the "happy ending" does nothing to save this movie....it sucked!

I loved this movie because it demonstrated the reality that pregnancy and motherhood do not define a woman or a marriage/romantic relationship. The main characters' rugged individualism allowed for healthy ways of relating and disagreeing ultimately ending with a positive outlook for their future.

The Lead Actress Is A Wet-Blanket..As Much As It Tries To Get Funny Moments Going, The Push By Her Actor-Compadre Is Just Not Reciprocating In Jokes Hitting Their Mark. Maybe Story Looked Good On Paper!? I Didn't Find It Funny.
