Greengrass knows how to shoot action. There is a hand-to-hand combat scene in Morocco that is as exciting, chaotic and violent as any sequence in the Bourne movies, I just wish he had spent more time on the moments between the mayhem. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Chris L @Christoph2000 May 19 The best installment of the magnetic (though infuriatingly loose-ended, thanks to two more pointless additions post-this movie) Bourne franchise, bar none. Logistically pulling this off boggles the mind and speaks to why Paul Greengrass has always been one of our most brilliant, and definitely thrilling, directors. It also features one of Matt Damon's finest hours on-screen as he satisfyingly beats down and humiliates the high-up bad guys drunk on US hegemony. I would go so far as to designate this, along with Die Hard and Mission: Impossible - Fallout, as one of the best movies in the action genre, full stop. The shaky camerawork (many plaudits to the late Oliver Wood) is controversial on account of feeling like a rollercoaster? Good. I love rollercoasters, and this provokes the same sensation from the get-go. As with other Greengrass movies, not a frame is wasted and all the action feels bone-crunchingly real.
