Clash of the Titans has a vigorous and spectacular story to tell. The film has its lulls, and cheesy moments, but for the most part it's entertaining.

One or two setpieces briefly wake up the story -- the visit to Medusa's cave, a parley with the three witches (isn't that Macbeth?) -- but this is generally a hit-and-myth affair.

As a fantasy epic, it offers a riot of crappy CGI action sequences and a gratuitous mythology lesson on Greek gods, but overall, it's as flat as a stone carved with the head of Medusa. [Full review in Spanish]

It might not be the best story of the old Greek gods, but it is entertainment and, in this case, like with many films, that is all that is needed really. This version is written and directed for the action, and it works decently well this way.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

Apparently these people learned nothing from the 1981 version. Yeah the effects were cool, but none of the heart or the great story were present. So so disappointing.

I'm all for a good Greek mythology-inspired action-adventure, but the Clash of the Titans remake struck out - it swung for the fences with its plot, but forgot to build a solid foundation. Decent visuals. Grading: C

After finishing the 1981 version of the film, I find this one slightly better in terms of effects and the atmosphere. But after viewing the deleted scenes on DVD for this film, I realised how much of the deleted scenes could've added so much depth to a lot of the characters. This is where the 1981 version did better. The overall cast was excellent. Never realise Liam Neeson can play a god so well!
