JM P. @RT70585695 4d Half way in I still had no clue where it was going so I checked RT. 78% and 50 something seemed worth sticking with. I thought the acting was just so deadpan and stilted, no emotion SPOILER (unscripted I later found out) TOTALLY e with the person who said unfinished high school project. See more Darla D @Darlad Jan 2 spoiler alert, there is no answer in the end... the movie looked like a high school project, yet surprisingly interesting because of it's reality... for example, the young persons try to solve what they mistakenly, or for real, believe is a missing person (they never reveal whether its a real crime or not,) the naivete of the characters could have worked to finish the story, it had me intrigued... EXCEPT there was no ending... it's like the year long project only completed the first semester. The story ended in the middle or somewhere around the middle, not the end. What happened? Was the person missing? What happened to the briefcase? Was anyone missing? Couldn't get through it, just didn't care why his listless ex disappeared... probably just too bored, much like the audience. See more 11/18/2019 Hardly worth it. Positive: The characters are well developed. Despite it's slow pace, I found myself interested enough in them to want to see what was next. Negative: A story line that promises something, but never delivers. The big finale was b-ll sh-t. The girlfriends situation made no sense and was rushed through on purpose because the writers couldn't come up with anything. So they copped out with a pull-the-plug ending. Gimme a break - phoney styling. Suddenly the credits come up and all I thought was "oh well, another movie that went nowhere". I understand that wrapping a story up like this can be difficult, but they needed to do better. Big disappointment. See more 03/20/2017 Film is very ordinary life. It is comical, slow comedy of every day, and reminding my teenage years. Then his ex disappears, they find her, and then I lost track because I started watching something else at the same time. The ending is strange, as if they got back at the bad guys. Stole the luggage. I don't think we know what is inside by the end. I hope to find out more from the reviews so that I don't need to watch the last parts, where I got distracted. I have more seuthing happening in my real life. Stupid mobsters...
