It starts out with a weird echo of the Hangover movies, then morphs into a variation on classic horrors such as The Wicker Man and even Rosemary's Baby - but with none of the dark impish wit that you'd hope for with borrowings like those.

Bousman's film pulls off some effectively nasty jolts and jabs: its feverish, whispery, eventually shrieking island-of-lost-souls claustrophobia may be rooted in cliché, but cliché takes root for a reason.

One of the finest movie I've recently watched. Good story, tight screenplay, gripping sequences, this should be the finest on the movies after Hitchcock. The story never looses attention till the last shot. It's extremely rare that writers could write such a gripping story. And I know how difficult as I'm being a movie writer too. I'd surely recommend this movie to anyone. I myself not only enjoyed it but wondered where this true jem was. Of course, it's trying to create another Rosemary's Baby (RB), but the most astonishing fact is that they are not only successful in that but rather made as superb drama as it was, even for the audience who have seen RB. Do watch it at night and you'll enjoy it more.

A movie that kept me interested throughout it run time because I was trying to figure out what in the hell was going on. Does the movie make sense? Kinda, but its so ridiculous with so many plot holes that you cant help but shake and scratch your head throughout the films run time.
