Christ B @ChristBells 1d Robert was too good for this script, his performance was let down by bad decision after bad decision from the writers. The beginning is quite good, but sadly, the rest isn't. It is filled with terrible jokes that rely on discomfort and shock. The writers couldn't make up their minds about what they wanted this film to be, it's not a serious movie with some jokes to break the tension, nor a comedy with some serious undertones about overcoming adversity. Robert has clear goals and motivation, but the film itself doesn't. Leaves you wondering what it could've been if the writers had treated the premise with just a bit of respect, or at least had the balls to make it a raunchy comedy instead of raising your expectations only to disappoint by not following through.
