Mark L @FriedSowell Feb 7, 2026 The acting in this was atrocious. I get that it's low budget but actors still in drama college could do better than this See more Ian R @RT23899272 Dec 5, 2025 The premise is hardly unique but it remains interesting. The film is difficult to follow due to the disjointed editing. It jumps from different scenes abruptly often going back 20+ years. I was genuinely interested in the story but found it impossible to watch this movie for more than 10-15 minutes at a time. Ultimately, it is overly long and suffers from a lack of direction and disjointed editing. Too boring to be a worthwhile time filler. See more Terry W @RT80696499 Sep 6, 2025 Edge of Extinction is a British post apocalyptic indie film set 15 years after a nuclear war. Don't expect a Hollywood movie, rather, expect a gritty, realistic immersion into a horror filled world where, as the villain in the film suggests 'Violence is king'. Don't watch it if you have no interest in being transported to that type of world. Do watch it on a rainy afternoon where you can allow yourself to go there. It is a long film, and many complain about that, but for me personally i wanted it to go on even further! The violence is raw, brutal, and far more realistic feeling than a lot of big budget PA movies. It makes you wonder how on earth you would cope in that world, many wouldn't even want to, but it is in our nature as a species to survive, and the title of this movie says it all really. See more Frans B @FransB Jul 31, 2025 Tedious to watch. You can tell only a couple of pages were written and then improvised as they went along in producing the movie. Cast not really convincing in character and story is not captive. See more Read all reviews
