Carrie is an unlikable cheater and adulterer who exploited his feelings for her while keeping him as a backup option in case things don't work out. This is not what love is but obsessive infatuation with someone who slept with over 50 people right until the moment she gets married and then comes crying to someone she used when it doesn't work out. Typical English humor which is always entertaining, fresh and very sharp. Well written and great cinematography. Hugh Grant is the only obvious choice for lead, rest of cast brings all the sophistication, awkwardness and off beat wit.
