This horror-comedy starts off with a good idea -- i.e. monsters learning to work together -- but doesn't take it very far. The likable characters and a few laughs are the only worthwhile things in it.

It’s not often that I can watch a movie that actually holds my attention the entire time. Usually, I’m pausing it to go do something else because I get bored. But not this movie. It was just the right amount of silly, stupid fun to be entertaining the whole way through. I recommend watching it. It’s not trying to be a masterpiece. It’s just fun!

Were people expecting Shakespeare? It’s a great fun movie that’s stupid and silly and that’s the whole point. It’s supposed to be silly and stupid. Loved every second of it

The plot is ridiculous. The characters are ridiculous. Everything about this movie is ridiculous..... in the best way possible. How this even got made is ridiculous.
