As a whole, Ghost Lab is a pleasantly scary movie, made more captivating by being a foreign film. It's entertaining enough to take audiences on a ride...

While it quickly transcends a familiar setup, the massive shifts through tone and narrative induce jarring whiplash.

The more outlandish "Ghost Lab" becomes, the more it seems like the kind of thing that Wee and Gla might've made fun of before they fell down the rabbit hole, and the movie's icky efforts to maintain its knowing edge over the competition.

There's a lot to like about this Thai horror film, but unfortunately, a few things bring it down.

Ghost Lab appears to be a rather light horror-comedy ... but it eventually gives way to something much stranger and harder to write off into a genre box.

Ghost Lab could have used a little more scientific discipline when crafting its scares, but its heart is big and bold enough to overcome some paranormal dissonance.

Great story, Oscar worthy acting, amazing plot However, the ending made no sense. if he wanted it so much he sacrificed himself for the experiment, he would have kept on going in afterlife. The movie unfortunately lacked the explaination for his decision afterlife to forfeit the experiement... it would made much more sense if a dieity or some sort of death or god came out and said "human is forbidden to know" or "those who finds out will be punished with death" to make sense of the story. HUGE points off for the lack of logic in the plot.

They just want me to ignore what the guy did for the experiment because he learned to live fully. I’m sorry, but no. Slow start as well.

A really new plot, make me have fun sometimes The actors, ok. But, for sure, this is not a horror movie.

Plot was a noob. Conventional Thai horror film with nothing to get excited about at the end.

This movie is actually chill, not too much horror in it, little bit up-down-emitional for me. But I don't like the ending
