Plagued with worry and insomnia since saving New York from destruction, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), now, is more dependent on the suits that give him his Iron Man persona -- so much so that every aspect of his life is affected, including his relationship with Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow). After a malevolent enemy known as the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) reduces his personal world to rubble, Tony must rely solely on instinct and ingenuity to avenge his losses and protect the people he loves.

Beyond all the explosions and action set pieces and 3D wizardry, you can still hear a writer with a distinctive, entertaining voice. Go to Full Review

While it was funny and the visuals were great, I walked out with a feeling that can be described simply in one word: disappointed. Go to Full Review

Circumvents all of the expectations for the character and for the franchise, thanks hugely to filmmaker Shane Black. Makes for the perfect epilogue to more bombastic entries into the MCU to tell an immensely personal story. Go to Full Review

Better than its immediate predecessor but not quite topping the original, this third entry in the franchise proves to be one of the best from Marvel yet. Go to Full Review

Mutalib A @RT97954997 2d Iron Man is a fantastic superhero movie that combines action, humor, and heart in all the right ways. Robert Downey Jr. delivers a standout performance as Tony Stark, bringing charm and personality to the character. The story of a billionaire who transforms into a hero through intelligence and determination is both inspiring and entertaining. With impressive visuals, exciting action scenes, and memorable dialogue, *Iron Man* set a new standard for superhero films and remains one of the best in the genre. See more Zelfy T @RT25490927 May 29 great character development See more Ryan F @RT09201479 May 27 I have seen this movie once, and only once back when it debuted in the theaters, Otherwise, it's the weakest Iron Man movie by far mostly because it was the least memorable. Worth a watch though to complete the trilogy. See more David L @Crt0415 May 27 Per the Iron Man movies it had all the awesome tech bells and whistles, but the writing of Tony Stark publicly telling the terrorist, The Mandarin, to come and get him at his home address and then not having any sort of defense plan was lame, then his hi-tech mansion gets blown to bits and into the ocean by some non military helicopters with some built in guns and missiles, boooo! I'm just saying for Tony Stark, the super-genius and intelligent sharp witted character with a drive to protect the world from evil with an arsenal of Ironman suits in his house, to pick a fight then get his ars handed to him at his house was just terrible writing, but I guess other than myself a lot of people didn't mind. On a side note, the rest of the movie was the best choreographed action packed movie of all of the Iron Man movies & I'm a huge fan Robert Downey Jr.! See more Mason B @OsamaBinHatin May 26 Iron man 3 and 2 were both disappointments, iron man 1 was better in every way than either of the follow ups. See more Read all reviews
