I think there is some goofy fun to be had with some of the action scenes, and as someone who did play with toy cars growing up, there is something here. I just feel the story is too generic and not interesting enough for me to get invested in it. I think if it leaned more into the action elements and was much shorter, it could have been a guilty pleasure. I liked the friends in the movie and felt their dynamic carried most of the emotional weight. Overall, it is not a terrible movie, but I don't think there was anything that I haven't seen done better in other action movies, and I don't feel it will be that memorable as time passes. It’s funny, heart-warming, action-filled and just what we need in a movie these days. I loved the chemistry between the five main characters. The one liners are hilarious. I found myself laughing at loud at the physical comedy. Just an all-around feel good light movie. I will definitely be watching this movie again when I need to lift my spirits and laugh.
