The copious pleasures of the nearly three-hour journey between the first hazy-dawn images and the crackpot grand finale set in a Spanish bullfighting arena opposite a very Zangief-looking/M. Bison-attired motherf***** can’t be overstated. Go to Full Review

But the thing with building your scaffold on style and swag is that you end up skating on thin substance, and this reunion of Bharadwaj with Shahid Kapoor...is left swinging between highs and lows. Go to Full Review

At first glance, the premise of the movie looks intriguing. It is a crime drama with a revenge plot and the return of Shahid in Vishal Bhardwaj’s films: all the things I like. However, these elements never find their synergy in O’Romeo. Go to Full Review

Despite the scale, O’ Romeo feels like a much smaller, inert work of art. Go to Full Review

It is brooding, bloody, and beautiful in parts, but ‘O’ Romeo’ eventually turns out to be boring and burdened by the filmmaker’s reputation Go to Full Review

Kin D @Kindo 5d Wasted three hours of my life. If you value your time, ignore it! Nothing there. Everything is absurd, hollow, loud, listless!!! Thoroughly disappointed! See more Arvind K @RT88582914 Apr 11 *O' Romeo* is a spectacular misfire and, frankly, a new low. It feels like someone asked Vishal Bhardwaj to make a cheap, noisy, street-level version of *Animal* and hoped the audience would blindly celebrate it. That gamble crashes hard. The film is painfully hollow: weak writing, flat dialogue, lifeless performances, a plot that goes nowhere, and songs that barely register, apart from maybe one or two. What is most baffling is that this script actually got funded. Shahid Kapoor looks miscast in a role that demands far more presence and weight than he brings, while Triptii Dimri seems drained of the spark that once made her so watchable. This is not bold cinema, it is loud, exhausting, and deeply disappointing. A complete waste of time. Hasta la vista. RIP. See more Dr Priyanka G @RT71577893 Apr 11 ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ O’ Romeo is a powerful and beautifully crafted film that blends love, pain, and intensity in a truly unforgettable way. It is not just a movie—it is an emotional journey that stays with you long after it ends. The biggest strength of the film is Shahid Kapoor, who delivers one of the finest performances of his career. His portrayal of Romeo is deep, intense, and full of raw emotion. Every expression speaks, even in silence. Triptii Dimri complements him beautifully, bringing grace and sensitivity to the story. The direction by Vishal Bhardwaj is exceptional. He presents a dark yet poetic world where love and violence exist side by side. The storytelling feels artistic, layered, and meaningful. Visually, the film is stunning. Every frame looks like a piece of art. The music and background score perfectly enhance the emotions, making every scene more impactful and memorable. What truly makes O’ Romeo special is its message—love is powerful ! See more Uttam S @RT61180480 Apr 10 Complete shit movie. This movie do not have any social message instead it promotes violence. This kind of movie should be banned where 80% of GenG and younger generation learn new stuff and gets influenced from movies and social media. Complete waste movie. Movie like this is killing the charm of cinemas. See more Anamul H @RT09284144 Mar 28 Movie is so boring I fell asleep. It tries to be Guy Ritchie without any plot, scenes fly from one country to the next without any journey. Don’t waste your time with this one. A list actors and it has some of the worst dialogues and themes I have ever heard. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Feb 20 O’Romeo, a 2026 foreign action film, delivers heavy action and adventure, keeping viewers engaged even when dialogue is incomprehensible. While the action sequences are compelling, relying on on-screen text to explain key plot points pulls focus and detracts from the cinematic experience. Ideally, actions should convey the story without forcing viewers to read subtitles constantly. Despite this, the film has a solid screenplay with well-choreographed fight scenes and competent performances from its cast. Its pacing occasionally feels long, typical of many international films, which may affect immersion. Overall, O’Romeo is an entertaining action piece, though not one I’d revisit, as it struggles to fully connect without linguistic context, yet remains a commendable effort for foreign action cinema, showcasing creativity and ambition in its direction and stunt work that deserves recognition even if it’s imperfect.
