When their ship crashes on an unexplored planet, the survivors of the crash soon discover that this planet that is normally always day is going to soon be in a state of eclipse that will bring out deadly nocturnal creatures. Extremely derivative. One star for Keith David and I'm Australian so one star for Radha Mitchell. Must just be me, this put me way off Vin Diesel. Very poor ending to this movie.

Do yourself a favor and spend 2 hours watching this. This film is a good paced thriller. The Cast & Crew do a great job. It's a fun watch on a dark night.

Typical story of a space crew crash landing on an unknown planet with nocturnal aerial creatures hunting them down, until a prisoner with night vision eyes helps fight back. The visuals and writing are pretty dated, but it still holds up alright.
