Poor Boy's Game is a movie built around a boxing match, but its most powerful scenes involve no jabs or hooks.

A bold script improves this drama about masculinity and bigotry in a small community. It also helps to have a terrific actor like Danny Glover on board.

A racial awareness movie trying to hide inside a boxing flick. It's brutal and well acted, considering it's budget and resources. It's well done.

An interracial gay love story locked in with a heavily PC "why can't everybody just get along" Message. Truly a dreadful movie which hardly made a ripple at the box office. Mark the name of filmmaker Clement Virgo as someone to avoid in future.

I'm not much of a boxing fan. But the story for me. Wanna watch again.
