Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, "Prey" is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.

It’s taken... 35 years to get back to the basic premise of a primarily 1v1 fight between an outmatched human protagonist and the Predator in the wilderness. It’s like someone identified what worked in the original movie, and… used it to make a good movie.

Never thought a predator movie would make me tear up, but this one did! I actually went into not knowing it was a predator movie (and not having seen any of the others), and it stands really strongly on its own. The ending was strong, which a lot of horror movies fail at.

Brilliant! One of the ultimate cinematic adrenaline rushes. Dan Trachtenberg just knows how. Imagine this in IMAX, pity it will probably never be in any theatre for that matter😭. My new favorite Predator at the moment. Everything just falls perfectly in place. Very well and skillfully written. Amazing cinematography and effects (somehow "dodgy", as labeled by critics, does not bother at all?) Visually just mind-blowing. Whole cast excels in character. Filled with every necessary element in moviemaking, every emotion. The whole ambiance seems perfect in the Predator world. It works, beautifully. Very captivating

It's good. Definitely uses the same formula as the first movie, but does everything better. No, it doesn't have Arnold, but the girl in this did a great a job and the Predator scenes are brutal which is the way it should be. I still like Badlands better, but by a small margin.

An absolute crime against humanity that this masterpiece wasn't released in theaters. This by far is the best movie in the entire franchise, and I don't think anything will ever top it.
