This isn’t just a giddy romp where a badass in high-tops channels working-class rage and comes out on top. It’s a little more brutal, a little uglier, with deaths that wouldn’t be out of place in one of Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett’s Scream movies.

Ready or Not 2 continues the light-hearted, bloody humor of the first film, anchored by a committed performance from Weaving. Themes of a world controlled by the ultra-wealthy have only become more relevant in the 6 years since the original’s release.

Great sequel to an action comedy thriller like Ready or Not. Added a great performance from Kathryn Newton and an always stellar performance from Samara Weaving, an ensemble cast of characters alike all come together for a round two of Hide n Seek and see who comes out on top. perfect thriller fun.
