It would be true to say that Stallone has improved as a director, delivering a short, almost staccato movie which zips through the whole fable fast enough to prevent familiarity breeding contempt.

The Survivor song, "Eye of the Tiger," might be the best thing about this film which has Rocky going against Mr. T as Rocky's adversary.

Very much a film of the ’80s. Not only did it co-star 1980s icons like Mr. T and Hulk Hogan, but it made Rocky a bit more musclebound than he’d been earlier, in line with the G.I. Joe aesthetics of the time. (40th anniversary)

Campy, but watchable. I like Mr. T as the villain (Clubber Lang) because his acting is amazing. I also like Apollo being a good guy because it gives him a chance at redemption. Plus, Eye of the Tiger is a catchy song. However, some parts of the film was just very silly, but I can see why this film has its fans.

Despite using the same formula as the previous movies, Rocky III develops more the Rocky's character, diving into honor, strengh and redemption. Seeing Apollo Creed training Rocky Balboa ( and fighting him afterwards ) is the chef's kiss for the fans .

This is pure americana juice. Are u kitten me? Forgot the Hulkster was in this as well. Also this movie reveals the actual statue of Rocky in Philadelphia. Let's have a run on the beach. Eye of the tiger! We need a montage! I pity the fool. One of the most iconic films of all times! Clubber Lang go for it!
