Critics Consensus

Though it features one of Dwayne Johnson's more thoughtful performances, the presentation of Snitch's underlying message is muddled by lackluster storytelling and some tonal inconsistencies.

Evan J @evanscottjohn Aug 12, 2026 Was a decent action film…towards the end. Very slow to start but overall decent. This seemed to be a political piece on how flawed the criminal justice system is. I didn’t mind it. See more Noel L @RT15930389 Jul 22, 2026 The plot just feels overdone, I can't think of any examples off the top of my head unfortunately See more Downriver R @Downriver Mar 23, 2026 Awsome movie. Way under rated. Great acting awsome story. The rock and jon bernthal are awsome in this See more Todd B @RT92383055 Jul 17, 2025 A good movie that's based on fighting for the welfare of family is what the Rock has embodied in action, crime, thriller. All for the love ❤️ of his son. See more Mark K @RT17710322 Oct 5, 2023 Consider me eccentric, but I find it surprising that this movie has a 60% rating. Dwayne Johnson, known for his excellence, carries this film exceptionally well, maintaining a compelling pace. I strongly recommend watching it. See more Musical F @RT56275767 Sep 10, 2023 Decent movie with a prudent relatable and realistic plot. Not great by any means but worth a watch See more Read all reviews
