See more Dale R @iromulus9 07/07/2024 A Disney+ original film that is a coming of age story about two teenagers in Arizona that is based on a book by Jerry Spinelli. Grace VanderWaal plays Stargirl and for a singer/songwriter that won America’s Got Talent she does a great job acting. Of course, they utilize Grace’s singing and ukulele skills well during the film. I wasn’t sold on Graham Verchere in the lead role, however I was cheering for the relationship between his and Grace’s character. There are some slow points in the movie that I checked to see how much was left. The ending was worth the wait as the life lesson was appropriately shown. I would recommend this film if you’re in the mood for a teenage coming of age story or are interested in Grace VanderWaal’s career.
