This is a story that has to be told. We have to be reminded of the dangers of capitalism at its absolute worst and how much power corporations have to steal our ideas without regard. Go to Full Review

Ilona C @RT78127039 4h Stolen Dough follows Anthony Mongiello’s fight for recognition after his stuffed crust pizza idea was allegedly taken by Pizza Hut. More than a story about pizza, it’s a fascinating exploration of innovation, power, and perseverance. Engaging, infuriating, and ultimately inspiring! See more Samantha S @Samanthascaff2122 15h The colors of this film bring you back to a late afternoon vibe, style and theme of the 90s. I check the credits of director Stefano Da Fre and cinematographer AJ DeSimone and also producer Laura Pellegrini, and found these artists have worked with one another for 10 years. It shows very strongly and creatively in this film stolen dough. You always have a deep sense of urgency and space and time in this film. You understand that texture and color are as much an influence to the viewer as Anthony Mongiello pursuit to the recognition he deserves. I loved this movie Stolen Dough. It made me cry several times. It felt absolutely real to me. See more Ram D @Ramdass108 1d I must recommend this film to everyone, primarily because it is a spiritual experience Anthony Mongiello goes through to fight a major corporate food chain. His challenge is a spiritual challenge, and best of all, director Stefano Da Fre draws us into this world very very deeply. This is an emotional film. You will feel deeply to Anthony’s story and I believe more crime docudramas should exist like this in the world. I loved this film ! See more Jadranka D @JadrankaDeSimone39 3d "Stolen Dough" is a well-made and thought-provoking documentary. Anthony Mongiello's determination and passion shine throughout the film, making his story impossible to forget. I was completely invested in his fight and came away feeling he deserved far more credit for his contribution to pizza history. See more Steve M @SteveM40 3d "Stolen Dough" is a fascinating and frustrating true story about Anthony Mongiello, the inventor of stuffed crust pizza. The film does an excellent job showing how a major corporation stole his idea, leaving him without the recognition or compensation he deserved. A compelling documentary that kept me engaged from beginning to end. See more David B @DBower1 3d In today’s consumer driven world, there is a TON of content. Some of it good, some of it terrible, but ultimately, not a lot of it stays with you after the credits roll. It’s rare to have an experience where you watch something that not only resonates emotionally, but leads to discourse after. I loved "Stolen Dough" for this very reason. This is a film where stakes are very high and clear, and - kudos to the director for this - at the core is a story that is universal and emotionally compelling. We care very much about Anthony and what happens to him. In the end, I do hope the family feels vindicated and that his contribution to Italian-American culture lives on. 5 STARS.
