While the notion of Jackson and Harlin teaming up again may stir some excitement in the hearts of old-school genre fans, even they will struggle to muster enthusiasm.

The film is about as silly as I hope I’ve made it sound and, more egregiously, tedious to boot.

The role gives Jackson a lot to chew on, and to his credit, as always, he modulates between big and not-so-big with exemplary canniness.

A pulpy, unrealistic thriller from longtime journeyman Renny Harlin has a propulsive plot and a reliable star in Samuel L. Jackson.

The thin story is incoherent nonsense, of course, but Jackson’s conviction keeps it rolling far longer than it should.

Horrible movie. Loud and scatter brained.

One would expect that a movie headlined by Samuel L. Jackson would be worth watching but when the entire run time of the movie is filmed inside The Beast presidential car there is no question that this movie will bomb. I should’ve walked out after the first half hour but I’m not one to do that ever and was holding out hope for this A-Lister actor in the role of the US President. Should’ve trusted my instinct and left.

Formulaic roller coaster ride that Samuel L. Jackson carries as a one man movie. High action. Plenty of explosions and finding last minute solutions to kill the bad guys. A lot of telling what’s happening outside the Beast than showing us.

Ridiculous action and over the top drama, felt very low budget. Had a blast! Sam Jackson gives a tutorial on how to say "Mother******" at one point
