I was entertained, even if for the longest stretches I couldn’t have told you who was doing what to whom. Chalk it up as yet another twist in the tale of Matt ‘n’ Ben – two Yin/Yang talents who will be yoked together for eternity.

While somewhat tonally different to the likes of Good Will Hunting, Dogma, The Last Duel and Air, there’s no doubting this trades heavily on the bromantic chemistry between the two Cambridge, Massachusetts-raised 50-somethings.

Great movie with great actors based on real events. It’s not overly cerebral but a good, entertaining popcorn flick. I also really appreciate what Damon and Affleck did for those involved in the film through their production company. These are some good guys looking out for their people. And the end dedication to the irl captains’s son was heartwarming. Solidified my fan hood. Some of these bad reviews are so dumb, it’s understandable why people fail open book tests.

This movie was so bad I came here and started an account to write an honest review to warn potential viewers. Look, the two leads in this movie have done fantastic work in their careers. No doubt. Here they got roped into a super weak plot, an awful script, unbelievable progression through the plot, no law-enforcement agency would ever act like they do in this movie. Sad. Save yourself the time and do not watch.

81%. 4/3/26. Inspired by a true rip which is cool. I was really into this at the beginning. And was cool to think Damon is the bad guy and then see the seeds he planted throughout the film to sniff out who the real dirty cop was. It started to go downhill as it progressed, though. The chase at the end was over the top and too blockbuster which was too bad cause it was good until then. Solid watch. 2.5/5 rewatch
