Maybe the audience needs to be distracted from the atrocious performances, terrible humor, and awkwardly constructed scenes that feel like they'll never end.

It’s not a masterpiece of cinema, and lord knows it’s not trying to be. Still, if you enjoy healthy doses of camp, cheese, and cringeworthy comedy with your horror, it makes for a fun watch.
