Mark Kermode Kermode & Mayo's Film Review May 11, 2020
There's a good balance of firmness and entertaining. Creepy thrills and atmospheric chills, for a pretty modest horror film I thought it did the job pretty well. Go to Full Review

There's something appealing about its modest ambitions, with its cast of unknowns, relative low stakes and retro jump scares. Go to Full Review

Jack C @RT53868153 2 days ago This film has a level of uniqueness in the sense that it’s not a concept that I have seen before, however that does not mean that the inexplicable amount of borrowed concepts is not overdone. The explanation surrounding the lore of the character in this film is underdone, which to me is important in, without which the story lacks a certain level of depth. There were redeeming elements to this film, especially a twist at the end which pushed it up from a 2 to a 3 for me. Important to note that this was not the longest film, it felt like with a bit of added back story, this could have been for me the perfect length as well as providing more context to the viewer. Overall, a decent watch, that I am glad I have watched but wouldn’t rush back to in the future. See more Paul S @PManRager Aug 15, 2026 This movie was incredibly boring and extremely underwhelming. There were some scary parts, but it wasn't enough to make the movie entertaining. There are definitely better horror movies out there; you're better off skipping this one. See more jasmine T @2kiramint Aug 6, 2026 plot - 3.5/5 nothing interesting but not bad either scare - 0.5/10 i cannot lie the jumpscares were pretty lame. characters - 0.5/5 hard to keep track of and barely connects with the audience at all. I could not find myself caring about them See more J H @UpstateNYThriller Jul 22, 2026 5/10 Weird movie with this Twinkie kid who works at a summer camp. The boy next door is haunted and he spies on the house, etc.. See more ZoorMoth 0 @ZoorMoth Jun 28, 2026 I have seen worse. Elements could have been great. Would not recommend.
