Zombieland has all the attributes of a pure blockbuster: a phenomenal cast, a straightforward narrative packed with thrilling sequences, a short runtime with fast pacing, compelling characters, and thousands of zombies.

The zombie comedy was hardly fresh territory when "Zombieland" came along (and really, will anyone top "Shaun of the Dead"?) but it nonetheless does a fine job of mining the humor inherent in the end of the world.

I THROUGHLY enjoyed this movie! Not only is it hilarious, gory fun, but it’s also a movie about a family finding each other during the apocalypse. And I don’t know what it is, but movies about a circumstance that brings people together into a family really just click for me, and this movie is no different. Since there are really only 4 characters (not including Bill Murray of course), it can really prioritize characters. And I think all 4 characters are great. I also really enjoyed the road trip element of the movie. Admittedly, the story may be a little weak, but the characters are so good, and so is the action and comedy, so I can forgive the fact that the story is a little weak. Overall, this is a great movie that I recommend.
