TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 8h Colors of Evil: Red is a foreign crime thriller that follows a detective investigating a disturbing series of crimes connected to a larger conspiracy. The story is dark, serious, and focused heavily on dialogue, which can be both a strength and a weakness. Because the film is dubbed, the voices rarely match the actors’ mouths, making some scenes feel awkward and distracting. Viewers really have to pay attention because much of the plot is explained through conversations rather than action. The mystery itself is interesting enough to keep you watching, but the pacing is slow and often feels stretched out. There are multiple points where it seems like the story should be ending, only for another lengthy discussion to continue the investigation. While the subject matter is disturbing, the film rarely creates the emotional impact it should. Much of the horror is talked about instead of felt. See more Derek A @RT03205757 2d Brang Brang Brang….
