One of the absolute BEST shows on television right now. It is hilarious and dark. The humor is pitch perfect and so are the thrills. I can't wait for season two.

I went into Widow's Bay expecting a creepy little mystery and wasn't prepared for how funny it would be. The show can make you laugh in one scene and genuinely uncomfortable a few minutes later. I really liked that the town itself feels like one of the main characters. There's something subtly wrong about the place even when nothing particularly scary is happening. Matthew Rhys was probably the biggest reason I started watching, and he didn't disappoint. Definitely one of the more unusual shows I've seen this year.

To me this went quickly down from a solid 5/5 to 1/5 with the last episode, where they leave all open to ensure people watches another season. I won’t be one of those. This could have been a great one-season story but not, they needed to ruin everything and making everything you have watched so far completely irrelevant

As someone that dislikes the weekly release models of many streaming shows, this show does it right. Leaving you enough details to not only stay attached to the show enough to come back a week later, but to going back through that night's episode and previous episodes trying to piece together what potentially could happen. From spending time on the Widow's Bay subreddit theorizing with others about the Island to having conversation after conversation with the wife, this show will change so much of your daily life until you finish the season.
