Singham works in bits and pieces, only when [Ajay] Devgn gets fully into his stride, squaring up to [Prakash] Raj as he hits the high notes. The rest is just stitched-up scenery. Go to Full Review

Kieran T @RT57247923 Apr 9 GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME HANDS DOWN See more 캣 Famme Fatale Cat 팜 @famfacat Jan 18 The Lion of Goa, Singham 251228 (1.9) "He’s here—Singham, the model gangster cop!" This film is a vibrant, modern musical take on a classic "good vs. evil" folktale. Bajirao Singham, a legendary cop from Shivgarh, proves that a lion is king even outside his home territory as he takes on the corrupt Jaikant Shikre in Goa. The experience is like watching three movies at once: a crime thriller, a rom-com, and a superhero epic. The action scenes are unintentionally hilarious, filled with absurd sound effects and "acrobatic slaps" that echo Stephen Chow’s style. While Singham acts more like a charismatic gangster than a rigid officer—often bending the law for his inner circle—his mission to clear a late colleague’s name provides a satisfying emotional core. Despite the over-the-top Bollywood tropes and blatant lip-syncing, the film’s energy is infectious. It’s a loud, proud, and thoroughly entertaining journey through the "system" of Indian justice. The star here, Ajay Devgan as Bajirao Singham is a true warrior in taking down these ruthless criminals. The movie is has silly and comedic moments, emotionally-driven intense moments, as well as lots of over-the-top action to boot—but it may not be for everyone. See more Read all reviews
