Bill T. @btreakle Apr 24 “Out of Bounds “ This was a movie done in 1986 by Anthony Michael hall. Not sure if this was his next movie after The Breakfast Club but nonetheless I enjoyed it. A story about a young man who is in the world all by himself after his parents were gone. Text one way take it to Los Angeles on his first ever plane ride and meets a young gal who helps him discover life. A story of mixed up luggage at the airport merely by accident and the young man ends up in the crosshairs of organized gangs and drugs. True story is survival impressive variance. So I watched it with her and neither one of us remembered ever seeing it before. This movie is definitely not a classic. Not a terrible story but the characters and acting was not good. Anthony’s character went from a country boy stupid and new to the big city to an action hero by the end of the film. Pass on this movie. See more paul s @RT18417519 04/08/2022 I like it because it's bonafide LA in the 80s. It's full of mad 80s cheese, but between the dated visuals and soundtrack, it's a nostalgic kick. It's also interesting seeing Anthony Michael Hall at such a young age. It makes me feel young, but old. It's very unrealistic on many levels. No wonder it didn't do so great at the box office. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it as a kid and it was worth seeing it again.
