Mr. K. @MrKloud7 11h Kind of like The Shining in Arizona but the snow storm is the 2008 financial crisis and it's written like Pineapple Express. 1st half is very solid dark comedy, 2nd half tries too hard and poorly to lean into the drama and ends up dragging. He doesn't start off completely horrible, he gets there mentally over time. My only complaint is the ending. So many people try to save the day and get killed, and then the way they finally stop his rampage is sub par considering all the chaos surrounding them. This movie follows a man with nothing to lose while slowly revealing his underlying psychopathic edge. The tension builds steadily as the story exposes the darker side of ambition and desperation. Strong performances from the cast and a rock-solid production team which definitely elevated the film. Well worth the watch.
