Set during the waning days of World War II, Burial tells the fictional story of a small band of Russian soldiers tasked with delivering the crated remains of Hitler back to Stalin in Russia. En route, the unit is attacked by German "Werewolf" partisans and picked off one by one. An intrepid female intelligence officer leads her surviving comrades in a last stand to ensure their cargo doesn't fall into the hands of those who would hide the truth forever.

It almost feels like Parker had originally set out to make a horror movie — not that Hitler isn't already one of history's greatest monsters — but ended up toning down those elements for a more generic war drama with some supernatural elements.

Quite slow in the start. Pretty difficult watch. At least by my standards, ultraviolent with some scenes of violence against women, but does fit the bill for a WWII thriller if that's your thing. The heroine's actions in the ending (a twist!) do feel rather inexplicable.

Burial is decent enough post WWII story that was horrifyingly mislabeled. Only substance that's even remotely haunting is that a group of soldiers carrying a casket around. In aspects of a war movie Burial manages to present yet another side story of the post WW society that's still grasping the new realities. Gloomy skies with dark woods beneath are tone setters for a darkness refusing to cease it's existence. Cast puts up a fine performance to portray the exhausted soldiers struggling to finish up the final assignment. Apart from it's historical value there's hardly anything that sparks for this flick. But it would pass the time just fine.

It was okay, kinda dumb moments, characters can be annoying, and the ending isnt that rewarding. Its okay i guess, its not bad but its not too good either, I don't think i would recommend this movie to anyone.
