The genius of Candy Jar is not in how much of Lona and Bennett's journey feels new. It's the sense of perspective and even realism inherent in their story that makes a case for the ways we can learn and grow from failure and loss.

The nicest thing I can say about this movie is that it is not completely devoid of any redeeming qualities, but it was so dull that there was no point in time that I was interested in it for the 30 minutes that I gave it before giving up and leaving the room. I give it a D - Just don't bother
