Ayushmann Khurrana film is so busy earning its feminist cred that it forgets the show-more-than-tell dictum, and never becomes the cracker it could have been.

The mildly amusing film Doctor G pokes fun at the sexist idea that certain medical practices should be handled primarily by one gender. It's a breezy comedy/drama that handles issues of gender equality in a somewhat predictable but entertaining way.

Doctor G might have been a more rewarding story, but there is a lot to appreciate about the decisions the film takes.

Doctor G is a conversation starter of sorts for several issues plaguing our society. Watch this well-made film for its positive message and for the inspired acting displayed by the entire cast.

A refreshing and surprisingly progressive social comedy that handles its sensitive subject matter with a perfect blend of humor and heart. It is a smart, laugh-out-loud medical drama breaking gender stereotypes that genuinely hits the right notes.

Some how disappointing because of too much feminism in the first two acts which is unnecessary. Character of Fatima is completely wasted. But the third act is amazing

This calm stroy flows naturally, without getting loud at any point. Anubhuti Kashyap's direction is full of serenity. It's hard to find such sound movie nowadays which takes its own time to unfold the story. The take on medical ethics also seems something fresh. Hopping to see more amazing cinema from Anubhuti Kashyap.
