It really captures the idea of fishing, as a life long fisherman you grow to understand fishing is about nature and spending time with people you care about and less about putting a line in the water and this movie gets that while being humorous to boot. I've watched it every year since he passed away. It's a family movie with slapstick comedy, heart, and a few surprises along the way. Joe Pesci and Danny Glover are great together. It's a very fun, lighthearted movie that is simple, turn off your Brian enjoyment fun for a few laughs. Joe Pesci in a roll and position I'd never assume to see him in, a family man whose best friends with Danny Glover, so close they live side by side, and have a yearly fishing trip with crazy results.
