Dave D @RT78510413 20 hrs ago I do not understand the low reviews of this film, I was engrossed the entire time. The boxing scenes were so-so but this movie is about Roberto Duran as a whole, not just showing boxing. See more Rob A @RT76386004 Dec 22, 2024 This is the story of Sugar Ray Leonard vs Roberto Duran fights one and two, which includes the infamous "no mas!", told mostly from the perspective of Duran and his camp. If that's your thing, and/ or you can remember back then, you'll definitely enjoy the picture. Ana de Armas shines as Duran's love interest, and a decidedly strong turn by Mr. Deniro. See more Ken M @kenminyard Dec 19, 2024 Couldn’t disagree more with the critics of this movie, particularly of the De Niro performance. It was a real pleasure watching one of the greatest film actors of our time getting so immersed in the role of the legendary trainer Ray Arcel. And a special shout out to Usher in his role as Sugar Ray Leonard. Dude had some serious boxing moves. I’d mark this one down as of the more memorable boxing movies. And stay tuned at the end for the great duet by Usher and Ruben Blades wh also had a role in the film. See more Mario C @RT00568997 Sep 17, 2024 Another terrible performance by Robert Denero....needs to retire and do something else. Waste of a good story on a terrible actor...got worse over the years. See more Dan R @RT84001940 May 8, 2024 A great boxing biopic, lacking any real depth to the story, feel like it was told on a very flat perspective. Boxing sequences were very well choreographed. Worth a watch. See more Nicolas P @RT63228865 Apr 17, 2024 Great cast and a good story. Like the first several Rocky franchise movies in one! True story and Usher does great as Sugar Ray!
