Lead singer Joe Dick (Hugh Dillon) decides to reunite his cult punk band, Hard Core Logo, for a Canadian tour. But guitarist Billy Tallent (Callum Keith Rennie) is waiting to hear back from Jenifur, a popular Los Angeles--based group considering bringing him on -- which causes tension with Joe, for whom Hard Core Logo is everything. Along with erratic bassist John Oxenberger (John Pyper-Ferguson) and hard-partying drummer Pipefitter (Bernie Coulson), the contentious duo take to the road.

Like the best "mockumentaries", this often feels like the real thing - unlike the obvious parody that was SPINAL TAP.

Unlike the novel that it is taken from, the premise is that this is a mockumentary (because of how the movie ends compared to the book). Although Hugh Dillion (Headstones lead vocalist) had a part in Bruce McDonald's film: Dance Me Outside, this was the starting point where the world got to see how good of an actor he is. He also sings on the soundtrack, which is awesome. Overall just a really good movie.
