Caleb K @RT59735513 5 days ago The plot of this movie is akin to what you would get if you were to ask ChatGPT to write a teen fantasy novel. Bootleg Game of Thrones is a good way to describe it. However, despite that, this movie is surprisingly fun and enjoyable to watch. Even though the acting and the writing aren't great, you can tell that the actors were having a great time and were hamming it up to the fullest whenever they were on screen which greatly enhances the viewing experience. it's so much better to watch a bad film where all the actors are clearly having a ton of fun than a bad movie where everyone seems miserable to be there. Matthew Lillard is a particular standout. Even though I acknowledge that it's not a good film, I still had a great time watching it. It is hilarious! It's not supposed to be hilarious, but it's hilarious! "How do you like my Krug?" is an 11/10 line! To give credit where credit is due, the fight choreography in this movie is actually quite good at times and the costumes are cool. It's like bootleg Lord of the Rings with dialogue so terrible it's unintentionally hilarious. The beginning is really slow, but once it gets into it, it's good stupid fun and I had a blast laughing at it. See more Paul S @PManRager Sep 10, 2026 I am not familiar with the Dungeon Siege video games, so I cannot say if this is a good adaptation or not. What I can say is that this movie is full of plot holes, formulaic tropes, and mediocre acting. However, I still found it incredibly enjoyable and full of epic moments that made it worth watching. This movie is great to just turn your brain off and laugh at the mediocrity, but there are far better fantasy epics out there compared to this one. I could see fantasy, action, and adventure fans enjoying this, but otherwise, it's not the best film the genre has to offer. See more Len P @RT75205440 Sep 2, 2026 I’m halfway through and bored. Corny mediaeval plot, corny script, weak directing; weak acting especially from Raynolds; boring fight and battle scenes; grating music score. Unfathomable how a cast of well known (good ?) actors could end up in this pathetic production. Not worth your time. See more ICUR M @icurmtheaded Aug 31, 2026 Horrible soundtrack. A good one could have saved this film. See more Read all reviews
