Jess Plus None is a watchable if mostly unfulfilling dramedy all about the need for personal growth. It feels a little bland and ordinary in places, but it is innocuous, and there are a couple of curious storylines and moments that keep you engaged.

It's great to see a bisexual character depicted without any fuss over her orientation. It's also a delight to watch a comedy that is funny, but also has a few interesting things to say about relationships and the necessity to like oneself first.

A romantic comedy that follows the same genre beats but has an entertaining group of characters that gives the film a boost above ordinary.

How nice it is to see a movie in which the heroine’s bisexuality is so completely accepted that it passes completely without comment.

Such a fun, smart indie film with a big heart. The actor playing Jess is fantastic - completely natural and engaging - and the writing keeps the story moving with humour and honesty. A hugely impressive project, especially considering the scale of the production. An easy watch!

A modern day Big Chill with lots of laughs and tons of heart. It's hard to be a good human and a joy watching these character try and fail and try again.

Really enjoyed this movie! A young woman heads to the mountains for her best friend’s wedding, a wedding she barely wants to see let alone be a part of. She meets up with her long time, college friends, all of whom she’s on thin ice with. Jess tries to feel included but fumbles and makes mistake after mistake as she waits, pining away for Sam, her ex and the one that got away. Sam is late and when she does arrive, Jess can’t help herself and loses all control trying to win her back. it’s a moment (no spoilers here!) Mandy Fabian brilliantly weaves in lighthearted, humorous, surprising twists, and turns, with a great cast of characters, keeping you engaged and wanting to see how everything unfolds. Loved it and highly recommend!

Such a humorous look at relationships; it is ok to not be perfect! They love and support each other despite their flaws.
