Even amid the delights of this Bollywood spectacle, Dev and Maya are left fretting like leftover characters from a Douglas Sirk melodrama -- not so much passionate as sorrowful and poignant.

For something so silly and so long, however, the film is surprisingly engaging, thanks largely to its very watchable actors; it's easy to see why they are international stars in the world of Hindi films.

While Preity breathes life even into what could have been a tough stereotype, Abhishek Bachchan in the best-written role in the film steals every frame.

If only the entire movie was as unself-consciously screwball, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna would have established Karan Johar's mastery over the four hankies-and-40-laughs genre.

The most underrated movie of all time. For my money, its one of the best films i have ever seen. Great performances, charming humor, commendable music with emotional depth.

La trama es buena, los actores son excelentes y la música es agradable; está bien, pero su duración es un poco extensa.

The film's efforts to be subtle or culturally grounded are the main faultlines of this otherwise gripping and emotional Karan Johar movie that tackles infidelity. The filmmaker has shown an easy improvement over the bad strand 'K3G' and weave his best narrative which, surprisingly and affectionately, doesn't get a, 'let-down' from its climatic happily ever after climax.

It's not just the infidelity that makes the movie unbearable.

Of all the Karan Johar movies, I do think this is the most "hat-ke" because it goes beyond the traditional Bollywood love story formulas. Yes, there is a love story, which isn't very moral as it is rooted from cheating and infidelity, but at the same time it tries to break societal taboos like being able to get a divorce and have a happy ending
