B P @Bradster69 Oct 1, 2026 Not Bad, but Not My Favorite See more Chris S @Janomi Jul 20, 2026 Lethal Weapon 4 is good when it plays like a reunion with characters we already like. Riggs, Murtaugh, Leo, Lorna, and the extended family dynamic give the movie a warm, familiar quality, even as the series has moved far from the raw buddy-cop thriller it started as. Jet Li is easily the best thing about the villain side. As Wah Sing Ku, he brings speed, control, and real physical menace. Every fight gives the movie a jolt because he feels far more dangerous than the usual action-movie bad guy. Chris Rock also adds a new comic rhythm as Butters, especially in his scenes with a stressed and aging Murtaugh. The final fight against Jet Li is strong because Riggs and Murtaugh feel genuinely outmatched. The problem is that the movie has too many moving pieces, from fatherhood and grandfatherhood to Leo, Lorna, Butters, Triads, counterfeit money, and immigration themes. It is entertaining, but polished and crowded compared with the original. P @Archives1987 Oct 19, 2025 Lethal Weapon 4 is one of the best classic action movies of the 1990's that I have ever seen. The plot is great, the characters are favorites returning to their beloved roles and it was before Hollywood was rocked with scandals out the wazoo. This movie has everything that a classic action movie should have to make it really good and it does. 4.5 out of 5 stars- I definitely recommend this movie to those who have not seen it- it will be worth your while. See more Cody W. @Cwalton1994 Jul 15, 2025 The action and suspense in LETHAL WEAPON 4 is definitely first rate, and the entire cast and crew literally brought their A game on this one, but it is Chris Rock’s outrageous sense of humor that steals the show.
