The plot may be simple, but the presentation feels refreshingly new as the film emphasizes the need to resist peer pressure, embrace differences, and demand change for the better. Go to Full Review Candice McMillan Seattle's Child Oct 8, 2026
Older viewers will recognize its predictable, formulaic conceit, but it has enough enticing characters and original imagery to make for an enjoyable Halloween watch. Go to Full Review Codie Allen Geek Vibes Nation Oct 7, 2026

For spooky season, Monster Mia is an easy little watch. It is not particularly scary, but the monsters and Halloween atmosphere give it just enough of that October feeling to make it a fun family-friendly choice this time of year. Go to Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Oct 6, 2026
A fun, amusing and pleasantly diverting animated film that will entertain kids without being too dark or scary. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Girl Mom 2 days ago Really cute Halloween movie. Something to do with the kids. Mia was the cutest! See more PieceofChips 5 hrs ago Toy story 5 is better than this See more jesse v 2 days ago honestly, it's the best animated movie I've seen in a while not by an asian country. the animation is set in 2s (like dreamworks animation and sony pictures animation), while the dialogue pacing is not as fast (like Disney or anything under Paramount). i wished the kid's parents were part of the story in some way and there were more background characters. and it wasn't really explained why mia had to prove that monsters really exist. i wished the story moved a bit faster at most parts, more weight to the backstory, and better voice direction. the story gets clunky by the school dance arc. the end credits has a lot more colorful style than the rest of the movie surprisingly (and could have added an after credits scene) See more Kissymissy 3 days ago Really funny and casual See more Patchy poem 6 days ago This movie tastes like trash See more Read all reviews
