Les M @RT32356243 3d How does no one else mention that the "wolf pack" has an infinite number of fighters? When shown in pursuit, the numbers range from 10 to 20. As the movie goes on, the Vikings kill about 30. Still more wolves come pouring out the the woods. Of course, many of these die but wait there's more. In a large battle scene, you can forgive the writers but these are all small skirmishes. If I was a member of the "pack", I would suggest attacking with all the men instead of just replacing those killed. Sheeesh! See more Logan D @Greynomad38 01/07/2024 Vikings stranded in Scottish lands rescue a princess hoping for reward. But her father is nuts. Taking her with them, they attempt to make it to sea. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this film. The director is unabashedly a fan of B movies and this is certainly that. It's a throwback to adventure films of the 70s and 80s. If you want insightful cinema, which I can enjoy as well, this isn't for the cerebral only. This is a popcorn flick with solid action. Waste of time See more 12/29/2021 Like someone said, what is up with the Viking leader having to be rescued more than once by his men? And if they had to address religion and where people go in afterlife, which seems to be a major undercurrent in the film (because they kept bringing it up over and over, you start to think this is part of the film's agenda) at least they should have researched Christianity more as they did with the Viking religion so there's at least a balanced discourse on the whole matter, unless that's wasn't part of their agenda when they created the subtext. Like when the monk saying that the crucifixion should be a symbol when the Viking leader brought up Christ's death as a reason not to believe in Christ… that was weak. A monk would have said Christ died for people's sins and he rose from the grave three days later since He is God and cannot be held by death so that's why people believe. Other than that, the movie was alright, a distraction during social distancing. Their are no twists and turns its a very straight forward movie with decent acting and action, but definitely not a story that needed to be told.
