Look, this movie isn’t trying to win Oscars. It’s here to entertain you with a healthy dose of action, humor, and Florida weirdness. If you’re looking for a film with a plot tighter than a boa constrictor’s grip, this might not be it.

I was really hoping for something half decent, I enjoyed the Original Roadhouse as well as like Jake Gyllenhaal. Put the movie just all the way through just feels very lackluster. The lack of character building gives you no real time to to make you feel like you really want to root for the characters. I thought when Jake started to somewhat train the other bouncers there was going to be character building but no. The best character building was the bad guy biker who didn't want to be a bad guy.

It was alright. The action was pretty good, but overall, it just didn’t have the heart of the original. Jake Gyllenhaal, you’re not trying hard enough, buddy. You can’t compete with Patrick Swayze. You just CAN’T.

2024 Road House is extremely disappointing. Back story is terrible the owner of the bar can’t act. Overall it’s like watching a low budget movie. Casting was not good.
