Underachiever Oscar (Will Smith) is a pint-sized fish with grand aspirations. When mob-connected great white shark Frankie (Michael Imperioli) is accidentally killed, Oscar concocts a story with Frankie's peace-loving brother Lenny (Jack Black) that it was he who murdered the shark. Suddenly hailed "Sharkslayer" by his aquatic brethren, Oscar has bigger fish to fry when Frankie's father, mob boss Don Lino (Robert De Niro), dispatches his henchmen to track down his son's killer.

Derivative and full of pop culture in-jokes.

This is a loud, visually busy, offensive in its obviousness and virtually empty computer-animated film from DreamWorks.

Out of all of the movies by DreamWorks Animation, I’d place Shark Tale among the weakest features they’ve made. If not, then THE worst.

As it is, it's an adequate time-killer that benefits from an impressive voice cast... Best of the bunch is Martin Scorsese as puffer-fish Sykes, sounding like he's sucked on helium.

It's awful and is without a doubt one of the worst mainstream animated films of the last 20 years.

This was a great movie, I love the cast, it’s pretty funny and I just can’t believe that Jack Black was also in this movie.

Shark tale was so bad that makes me wanna throw up. The characters are ugly and so as the animation, the animation is terrible too. And it was about Oscar being in the club and Lenny trying to stop his father. And it didnt feel like it to me. So I will give this a 2/10

Is it Finding Nemo? Absolutely not! But it's definitely not the worst DreamWorks movie. At least it's somewhat creative and has a good message.
