Katerina T @RT24236119 4 days ago This movie was so slow. It did not need to be 148 mins long. I’ve never left a review before but I just had to let people know…don’t watch this movie. Waste of time! See more grae M @RT80305132 Aug 21, 2026 I’ll give it 1.5 for visuals and effort on the cast and crew’s part but damn wtf was that but ok I watched it 🤷🏻 See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Jul 24, 2026 Starbright had an interesting concept, but the execution never came together for me. The story dives into themes involving an orphan and mythological, spiritual elements, yet none of it feels fully developed or engaging. Instead of creating a magical adventure, the film becomes bogged down with heavy dialogue, slow pacing, and a screenplay that struggles to hold your attention. At nearly two and a half hours, the runtime feels far too long for a story that rarely builds momentum. There are moments where you can see the potential, but they’re overshadowed by missed opportunities and a narrative that feels unfocused and directionless. Rather than pulling me into its world, the film left me wondering what it was ultimately trying to say. By the end, I felt more disconnected than invested. Overall, Starbright is a disappointing fantasy that never lives up to its premise. It’s not a film I’d recommend, and it’s definitely not one I’d revisit. See more Robert M @RT04590843 Jun 21, 2026 My wife and I wasted two and a half hours on this absolute mess. Starbright has zero plot, terrible pacing, and makes no logical sense. The timeline jumps around constantly, scenes cut away randomly, and the story is impossible to follow. It feels like the filmmakers just threw random footage together and called it a movie. Do not waste your time or sanity on this disaster. 0/10 See more Suzan T @SGClark May 2, 2026 It started off with huge plot hole, and continued throughout the film with a half a dozen more unexplained scenes. Was it the script or Screenwriting? who knows.. but the awkwardness continued on into the acting of several actors/actresses, which left the storyline massively incomplete. It could have been an awesome movie, but sadly it missed it's mark. Perhaps it is meant for children who do not follow a storyline as an adult would. Also, with all the new technology available, the animations were also just a 2, lacking what could have been a blockbuster. See more Filippo F. O @RT57400181 Apr 12, 2026 I truly wanted to love this movie. Didn't know anything about it, started watching with the most blank state of mind conceivable. Slow start - then picking up, loved the acting. THEN, for whatever reason, it all went down to absurdity, the acting fell, the scenes pace fell, the plot was lost (was even there EVER a plot? So many strings remain open - but open in the sense of just purely undeveloped - absurd), we were just looking at each other failing to understand what was this film about from half onward. WOW what a major disappointment. John Rhys gives a stunning performance, but he does so in a vacuum, at some point. Immensely disappointed. Time wasted. See more Read all reviews
